BIG SILENCE is the soundtrack of my life since
2001. It is a music project that was performed
by me and some of the best musicians I've ever
had the great fortune to know and feed. We went
against all formula and common sense … and did what the songs dictated. There are a lot of 180’s, hairpin and graceful turns....CD COVER ART

I’ve tried to explain what this CD sounds like,
but I can’t … so I’ll leave it up to you. I hope you have a good experience listening to BIG SILENCE, I had a good experience making it … I wish it was still going on.

I co-produced this with my wife and fellow songwriter CAROL LEE ESPY. BIG SILENCE would not have been possible without Carol’s incredible talent. We’ve produced CD’s before, … we also produced a child, and both productions are immeasurable in our estimation.

There are two people I connected and re-connected with during the making of BIG SILENCE, Dave Brown and Pete Freeman. Pete and Dave were the ladders I used to climb out of the box to take in the view of Cowboys and Indians living in musical harmony. Pete’s enthusiasm and talent was central to this project, he is the vein of gold everyone is digging .

My life has been filled with many musical masters … and when I sit in a room and play music with Dave Brown, I am amazed. Dave and I go back a long, long way and now we’re going forward a long, long way … thanks man.
