This led to multi-platinum record sales (including the definitive WHEN I WOKE CD), national & international tours, plus radio and TV appearances (Letterman, VH1, and Conan). |
2003 saw the release of Jims debut CD "BIG SILENCE", which is quickly becoming a "must have" in your record collection. Check it out HERE![]() Jims active session playing has logged over 37 CD projects ... see the DISCOGRAPHY section for a small sample of his work. ![]() . © 2003 DISPIRITO all rights reserved BlueWeb |
He is a three-time Emmy Award nominee for his compositions for television scores. He has composed for an award winning IMAX film, feature films, PBS films and commercials through his company WICHITA BLUE PRODUCTIONS![]() His background as a student of jazz drumming at the Berklee College of Music and his years of studies in ethnomusicology at the University of Pittsburgh served as precursors for the real deal which was the intensive study of tabla in India with Nishikant Barodekar and the world renowned ZAKIR HUSSAIN.
